2008 TOP SIX TEAM TOURNAMENT

Lake Champlain, Ticonderoga, NY

The water is off-limits to tournament participants from sunset on May 30, 2008 to sunrise on June 14, 2008. The waters are open for official practice from June 14 at sunrise until June 25 at 2:00 p.m. Tournament Director, Al Purdy confirmed that anglers could not use lead weights in Vermont waters and that a Vermont license was only needed if an angler fishes in the creeks and rivers on the Vermont side. Al strongly urged anglers to get both New York and Vermont licenses. He also stated that the areas around the Ferry Boats on Lake Champlain are off limits as well as the area around the launch ramp.
